马来西亚城市大学信息技术活动日
马来西亚城市大学信息技术俱乐部(IT俱乐部)在马来西亚城市大学为学生举办了信息技术活动日。
信息技术学院院长郭雅尔博士在开幕典礼上致辞:
“作为大学的教职员，我们一直支持学生。通过我们的许多举措和努力，例如今天的IT日，我们希望为不断教授前沿技术和改善学生的就业前景做出贡献。”
信息技术学院的学生代表Heerajeet Singh Khalsa先生表示，这项活动为新生与学长打破僵局，同时也锻炼了团队合作精神。
为了提高学生的表现，确保他们为进入日益数字化的劳动力市场做好准备，马来西亚城市大学邀请了几位拥有丰富IT经验的客座演讲者。他们分别是来自IBM的软件架构师黄俊贤先生和拥有13年端到端实现经验的独立微软商业智能顾问Gerard Teng先生，他同时也是微软BI堆栈的专家。
黄俊贤先生的建议是:“世界瞬息万变，这就是为什么对学生来说，让自己跟上时代非常重要。
学校提供有很多免费的IT课程，所以现在就抓住机会，学尽可能多的东西。”
